In 1987 Dr Heather moved to the Middle East. During a two-year posting at Tawam hospital in Al Ain she honed her oral surgery skills, treating mainly emergency patients in the walk-in outpatient department.
However she began to miss the variety of general dentistry and moved to Dubai in 1989, initially working with Dr Peter Smith.

In November 2019 she joined Dr David Roze and Associates.
Dr Heather enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially the challenges involved in treating nervous patients, of all ages. She regularly attends courses to keep up to date with latest trends and ideas. She strongly believes in ethical dentistry. She is a staunch advocate of non-invasive cosmetic dentistry and the ‘align, bleach and Bond’ ethos. She is registered in the UK with the GDC.
She is a mum to boy and girl twins, born in Belfast in 1996. In her spare time she plays golf. She is an avid fan of Rory McIlroy. She also follows Ulster and Ireland rugby teams.
