Egle completed her Masters Degree in dentistry from the Lithuanian University of Health and Sciences and continued with post graduate studies at the Vilnius University, obtaining a specialist degree in paediatric dentistry. She worked as a paediatric dentist in both public and private practices in Europe gaining extensive training in treating patients with mental and physical disabilities, especially in the autism spectrum. She also qualified to provide dental treatments under conscious sedation and general anaesthesia.
“In collaboration with the Vilnius University, I was really fortunate to lead the development of behavior management programme for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This experience enabled me to write several articles about dentistry for ASD and special needs patients.
I love working with children, helping them overcome the fear of the dentist and providing the best quality dental care. My favourite part about being a paediatric dentist is to see my patients’ smiles and watch them grow. My motto is: treat every child the way I would like my child to be treated.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and discovering different cultures. My family and I also have a great love of horses and equestrian sports.”
